Stone Carvers - Now in our fifth year.
We are now in our fifth year of
business. A big "Thank You" to our
customers for your referrals and your repeat
business. If you are not yet one of our customers, we still
want to thank you for remaining on our distribution list. In
the past 4+ years, some of our accomplishments are:
- Our business has
gone international! In addition to having stones in 20
states, we also have stones in India and the British Virgin
Islands.
- We have done over 300
projects ranging in size from a few pounds to more than one
ton.
- Our product line has expanded
significantly. Most of this is a result of someone
asking, "Can you do something like this...?"
As a special thank you to our current
customers, mention this newsletter to receive a 15% discount with
your next order (versus the current 10% discount). For new
customers, mention this newsletter and receive a 10% discount with
your first order.
With the holiday season approaching,
consider one of our custom items for that "hard to buy for" person
on your gift giving list. The deadline for Christmas
orders needing to be shipped is November 7. For orders that do
not need to be shipped, the deadline is December
1.

things we have done. It might give you an idea.

| Our Gift Stones go to India.
Thanks to one of our repeat customers,
we recently made several gift stones (pictures to the
left). He used them to recognize individual employee
contributions from one of his business partners in
India.
In addition to employee
recognition, our gift stones have been used for
wedding and anniversary gifts, new born gifts, for
Christmas gifts, and office gifts for birthdays, bosses' day or
administrative assistant's day.
Prices start at $50,
including a wooden easel. Go to our website
to see more examples. |
| New
business partner relationships.
We've established a new partnership with
several companies that enables us to provide you the benefit of more
detailed work not conducive to traditional sandblasting
technology. With thehelp of our business partners, we can now
offer you:
- Custom Laser
Etching - ideal for detailed pictures, small letters. This
relationship provides additional options for gifts and awards
in other media, e.g. glass, leather, and
metal.
- Custom Leather Work -
In addition to his custom saddles and
chaps, the product line also includes custom bible covers, legal
pad covers, photo albums, and brief cases. The picture at
right is one of his bible covers that our laser etching partner
ethed the picture of a local church.
- Custom Hand Made Metal Products - In
addition to handmade bits and spurs, product line includes
hand-forged steel crosses. The cross in the picture at
right was made from a 1/2" square piece of steel. The steel
was cut, heated, hammered and twisted in such a way that the star
is naturally formed in the center of the cross. These are amazing works of art and can be done
in different sizes.
If you have a project that either of
these business partners could satisfy, contact us and we will put
you in touch with them. |
| Veteran Falls Project.
Cowboy Stone Carvers was recently
asked to be the exclusive custom stone carver for the Veteran Falls
project, Granbury, Texas. Veteran Falls, a massive waterfall
structure, is being constructed as a memorial for America's fallen
veterans in the war against terrorism. Once completed, this
memorial will become the cornerstone for Veteran Falls Memorial
Park.
On September 10, at a
fund raising reception, a stone we carved containing the
names of the first three veterans to be honored at the falls was
unveiled. Click here
for more information on that presentation.
We are honored to be
affiliated with this project. If you would like to become
involved, or learn more about the Veteran Falls project, click here.
We were especially touched by the
story of one of the veterans who was honored that
night. LTC (Ret.) Brian Birdwell is a survivor of
the terrorists' attacks on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
Brian's survival and recovery is an amazing
story. Click here for more
information. |
